The album is widely considered by critics and fans to be one his strongest, most cohesive and atmospheric releases of the 21st Century. Heavy, dark and deeply cinematic, 'Dead Son Rising' is a blend of industrial rock and electronic goth synth. Because of its powerful synth lines, distorted guitars and claustrophobic production, critics compared the album to Nine Inch Nails (a band Numan famously influenced). Many of the tracks are deeply personal, exploring troubled relationships and emotional betrayal. However, songs like 'We Are The Lost' and the title track 'Dead Sun Rising' pull from a sci-fi fantasy novel Numan was writing at the time. 'Dead Moon Falling' (2012) is the companion remix album to 'Dead Son Rising', with mixes curated by Numan & Fenton, featuring a diverse array of artists. Also included is the corresponding live album, 'Big Noise Transmission' (2011), plus bonus tracks and a brand-new remix of 'The Fall' by Ade Fenton.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\nSpecial Features<br \/>\n<br \/>\nClamshell box set<br \/>\nTRACK LISTING<br \/>\n<br \/>\nDisc 1<br \/>\n1: Resurrection<br \/>\n2: Big Noise Transmission<br \/>\n3: Dead Sun Rising<br \/>\n4: When the Sky Bleeds, He Will Come<br \/>\n5: For the Rest of My Life<br \/>\n6: Not the Love We Dream Of<br \/>\n7: The Fall<br \/>\n8: We Are the Lost<br \/>\n9: For the Rest of My Life (Reprise)<br \/>\n10: Into Battle<br \/>\n11: Not the Love We Dream Of (Piano Version)<br \/>\n12: The Fall (Ade Fenton Remix)<br \/>\n13: The Fall (Motor Alternative Mix)<br \/>\n14: The Fall (South Central Bad Trip Mix)<br \/>\n15: The Fall (Motor Club Mix)<br \/>\n<br \/>\nDisc 2<br \/>\n1: Big Noise Transmission (Tim Burgess Remix)<br \/>\n2: Dead Sun Rising (Sonoio Remix)<br \/>\n3: We Are the Lost (Gazelle Twin Remix)<br \/>\n4: When the Sky Bleeds, He Will Come (Tweaker Ray Remix)<br \/>\n5: Not the Love We Dream Of (Toby Butler\/The Duke Spirit Remix)<br \/>\n6: The Fall (The Officers Remix)<br \/>\n7: For the Rest of My Lfie (Alex Empire Remix)<br \/>\n8: For the Rest of My Life - Reprise (Is Tropical Remix)<br \/>\n9: Dead Sun Rising (Grayed Out Mix)<br \/>\n10: For You (Feat.
